“Stayed here while visiting family. Good comfortable hotel and central location. We didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment. But the staff were all friendly and helpful. Good parking. Room was spacious. ”

“One of the best equipped and well set up places I have stayed. Great to have clean and well-equipped kitchen. My room looked out on the road; at first I thought it would be too noisy but the double glazing was very effective at blocking the sound. Good information eg clearly labelled light switches. Easy to use door seduriry with codes. I was delighted to be able to leave my luggage between check-out and train departure. Very convenient for station, town, restaurants, church. I would recommend……

“I was in one of the cheaper lodges not overlooking the lakes and closer to the bins. Lodge was clean overall and simply equipped with the standard fittings. I didn’t use any of the restaurants on site and check in was very easy. ”

“Struggled to get into the property but once in there was stains up the walls on the floor and the bedding was also stained and dirty messaged host on Expedia got no reply rand them it just rang off also sent a txt message and got blanked there too ”

“A lovely stay. Roast dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious. The suite we stayed in was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Easy to find and lots of parking Staff member Nathan and the lady who served us breakfast were both lovely. The cons - the hot water tank run out after my husband had a shower. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to heat up again. For the age/type of building this isn’t a problem but it would be good to give guests the heads up online……
