I am reaching out to you in order to request a solution to the problem that affects your platform and reputation and has impacted my desired vacation!
- The host uploaded photos on VRBO that did not match what was delivered
- Pictures of an oceanfront apartment with unobstructed views from a high floor (approximately 15th), but she provided an apartment on the 4th floor that had a building in front, obstructing the ocean view!!
In short, this is a scam happening on your platform!
Upon entering the apartment, we verified that the photos of it on VRBO did not match those of the apartment we were given. We notified the host (Lauren Laderman) about this, and after several interactions, she sent us this message:
" I also understand that this is not an ideal situation, and therefore I am
willing to issue a refund of $200 and as you requested, a 4 pm late checkout,
which normally has a cost of $100.
It would be the best that I can do, hoping that helps.
We are here to make sure our guests have the best possible experience, and would
not want this to affect your stay negatively.

On Sunday, July 2nd, the day of our check-out, in the morning, she notified us that we had to leave at 11 am because they had other guests!! But we had agreed on a late check-out at 4 pm!
