"Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

"Check in was efficient. Room had Lovely view of Barfusskirche and weather that allowed for open windows. Easy walking distance from Bahnhof (even with heavy suitcase), and the delightful Kraemerbrueke. Somewhat loud on the street at night but not too bad. Room was very clean. Breakfast room was sunny and well staffed with bread, eggs (boiled or scrambled), all kinds of cheese and meats, jams, honey, and several types of tea. Standard coffee machine that produces standard coffee. "

"Tolles Zimmer in einem alten Haus. Sehr ruhig, man hört nur das Plätschern des Flusses. 1 Minute zu Fuß zum Domplatz. Frühstück sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Es gibt nur 3 Zimmer. Sehr familiär. Das einzige, was etwas besser sein könnte, ist das WLAN. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Sackpfeifenmühle und kommen gerne wieder."
