“We chose to Harbor Island for our annual family beach trip and we’re so glad we did! The house was right on the beach! We brought beach chairs and a tent, but when the tide comes in you barely even have room for them you are so close! We saw dolphins every day mostly at sunrise and sunset time. We loved the island and the huge community pool! The house was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked! The only negatives were the prickly spurs in the yard. We were unable to walk the dog in the yard……

“We spent a long weekend celebrating my birthday with family. The home easily accommodated our group of 13 . The home is beyond spectacular with breathtaking views of the ocean which you can also see from the upstairs shower. The common space was huge with something like 40 foot ceiling. It was easy to cook for our group and everyone was thrilled with the house. Our property manager attended to all our needs and we had no problems with anything. It was wonderful and we hope to go back! ”

Edisto is great with zero crowds and just enough to do if you’re looking for a relaxing and very low-key few days away. We hope to return next December for our 50th. ”

“This was our 2nd year at this house. You simply can not beat the price for this location. Sunrises from the deck are AMAZING!!! The kitchen/living/dining is open and filled with window to take in the ocean view from every room. We definitely recommend this house. Parking underneath the house on the concrete pad is not advisable without an SUV or truck. You’ll bottom out you car and may cause expensive damage. You’d be better off parking on the street. ”

Close to John’s Island main drag and about 20 minutes to Charleston. The owners are wonderful people who put their heat and soul into this place. I highly recommend this property. ”

“Our family of 7 adults and 2 dogs fit nicely in this spacious home. Pauline was very responsive to our questions. We found the kitchen to be well equipped to cook a Thanksgiving dinner. The porch was a good place to read and the location of the house was convenient to the many attractions at Kiawah Island. The courtyard was great for the dogs. We would certainly stay there again. ”

“It’s not often you find a beautifully appointed home that also has a private pool. The kitchen has everything for cooking your fresh catch or local shrimp you just brought home. We enjoyed h’ordouves and drinks on the screened in porch overlooking the pool after a day at the beach. The beds are very comfortable. We brought our own linens and towels but next time we will check out the rental of them. There were only 3 of us so if we were a larger group that’s the way to go. The furniture and……
