“We were looking for a true cottage experience and we found it! If you are looking for frills this cottage is not for you but if you are looking to relax and enjoy being right on the lake then this is it. We wanted to get away from it all,relax and spend quality time together and with our two dogs and that is exactly what we did. When we arrived the dogs ran straight to the lake and swam. “The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. “Loved our experience at the Blue House. The open concept living rm/kitchen was great and better than shown in the pictures. Beds were comfortable and the house had all we needed for our stay. The host even organized the drop-off of a space heater for one room that was a bit cold, so we were very comfortable. The only improvement would be the dishwasher, since it doesn't clean the dishes very well, even when rinsed. A few more glasses would also be helpful.”
