“We walked in to check in and the folks were having a fight and ignored us. We did not stay and left”

“This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room……

“Motel served it's purpose but that was about it. Beds were hard as rocks, may as well have slept on the floor. Found rat droppings under the beds. Had window AC that barely cooled the 300 sq ft room. Only opted to book due to how close in proximity to De Leon springs to be close enough to make it to the springs before capacity was hit on the 4th of July. If your looking for a comfy likely cleaner stay, this isn't it. ”

“Their website says humble rooms - quite so. I hope we got the worst one in the hotel. The lobby and restaurant were clean and nice looking but the room really needs help. Could have been a fun off-the-beaten-path experience but just ended up sad.”

“Two of my friends didn't know what kind of bite they had on them the night they stayed! Sound insulation is not good either. Anther thing that I‘d like to say is about when we checked into the room, there was only a box with little bit tissue left in the room. Late when we used some then ran out of that tissue and I went to the front desk and asked for a box, and the stuff told me to go to the restaurant across the front desk.”

“The room was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel sign prevented us from viewing the outdoors from our window.”

“The room was great. Pillows were terrible with no body. When I checked in I asked for a late departure. I was told 12 noon to 1pm is ok just call and advise the desk. I went to a meeting that lasted longer than expected. Desk told my wife if she did not vacate the room by 11:30am we would be charged for another day. She did call for a late check out. Poor excuse for Hilton Honors guest.”
