“We enjoyed a long weekend stay at this nicely appointed, comfortable home as we explored the area. Large wooded lot with privacy in a very central location with easy access to Crosslake and other Brainerd Lakes locations. Well appointed kitchen and enjoyed relaxing on the screen porch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Verna was easy to communicate with and a great host.”

“My family and I have stayed at all three of the Sanctuary lake houses, and are always impressed with the attention to detail and all the amenities. The new Blackwater Lake place is really amazing. The dining room table is huge with a great view of the lake. The living room had plenty of seating for everyone, which was great for gathering and playing games. The game room and home theater was a life saver when it was raining - the kids loved the laser tag. Having exclusive use of the pontoon……

“We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard.”

“We planned this getaway in the area to enjoy the full Fall color peak in Nisswa. This was a glorious weekend full of vibrate and beautiful colors. The neighborhood was so calm and quiet. We enjoyed plenty of walks in the neighborhoods. The house had so much more space than we anticipated. And there was nothing lacking in the kitchen! It was wonderful! ”

“Beautiful lakeshore property with great views of the lake from many of the rooms and bedrooms. Our family of 14 people had plenty of space to spread out. Two primary suites, bunk room for the grandkids and 3 other bedrooms provided each couple some private space and quiet sleeping. Kitchen well appointed with amazing prep and serving countertops. Lower level hangout space large enough for our group. Only tricky thing was locking/ unlocking the entry doors— had to adjust handle while locking.……

“Property is well appointed, clean, modern relaxing. We came for a Fall getaway and enjoyed hiking and the peaceful surroundings! We had really good dining experiences at Common Grounds and Deerhaven! Really appreciate the extra towels, hooks, fans, bedside lamps and minimalist decor. The house felt cozy and edited at the same time. There is plenty of seating and room inside and out to hang together or spread out. Definitely recommend and will be back with friends/family in tow.”
