“We celebrated our birthdays with all the grandkids and adults and it was one of my best birthday celebrations. I truly was blown away by the decor and comfort level. “I wanted a lovely place that was totally private. The property is mostly fenced and you cant see other properties, even from the dock. The house has everything you could want and has a comfy charm even though the house and facilities are more modern than cabin-y. I spoke often to our property manager who was terrific.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the white cabin. Jeff and Lindsay are great hosts and were very responsive to questions. The fireplace was already lit when we arrived, which was very nice. There was uncertainty as to whether the pontoon would still be available in mid-October but we were fortunate that it was! My dad enjoyed being able to go out and catch some large mouth bass. We will definitely be back again!”

The weather was fantastic for September as we visited the many places of our youth and met with friends still in the area. Tried to contact owner for departure instructions and they never answered so we just did what most vrbo renters have asked. Also, instructions regarding entry need updating. The master suite makes it a perfect getaway for a couple and the bunk house would be an awesome spot for older kids to sleep! “We three sisters spent three nights at this property. One thing was mentioned in another review: keep right at the fork with the sign for the Paul Bunyan Trail!
