“We stayed for a few nights in a 2-bedroom lodge, during October half term. We had a lovely time. As a family of four, we found the lodge to be really nicely sized. The children had their own room with 2 single beds. It was clean and we appreciated all the little things to make our life easier (tea & coffee, dishwasher tablet, etc.). We used the pool once. It was smaller than what I anticipated from the pictures and really nothing fancy but kept the kids busy for a good hour. We didn’t use any……

“The flushng water of toilet is not in order sometimes and the toilet door is difficult to clsed.”

“I visited this hotel on business recently and I was surprised how nice it was. They had made a huge effort with the decor going up the stairs and also so really noticed all the Christmas decorations which made it feel extremely festive and seasonal. The staff were very friendly and chatty and were also extremely attentive and professional. Prices of food were on the expensive side however it was of very very good quality. There were great cooked options on the breakfast menu also. The rooms……

“The heating was inadequate for December.”

“Absolutely perfect stay until the morning we left. There was no hot water at all so no one in the hotel could have bath /shower. Felt it was dealt with very slowly still not fixed when we checked out at 11am. Not much of an apology from front of house. ”

“Fabulous staff, fantastic pool and restaurant. Lovely large suite with a beautiful view. Amazing kitchen facilities too. Extremely well maintained and in a great location. Already planning our next visit!”
