“rooms pretty small ”

“We got stopped in Des Moines December 30th from a snow storm and decided to stay here. Best choice ever! The staff was sooo helpful! We had nothing with us so they gave us everything we needed! The pool was amazing! We got to swim in the outdoor part while it snowed on us. It was amazing. And yes the pool was still very warm even though it is indoor and outdoor. The beds were so comfy! And the breakfast was great! We may come stay again tomorrow just for fun!!! ”

“I liked how clean and convenient the hotel was. The staff was friendly. I also appreciated the restaurant vouchers. The pool and jacuzzi area was clean and towels stocked. Lastly, I loved the University decor. ”

“This was a beautiful hotel with a wonderful feel of luxury and elegance. We were able to walk to dining areas around and walk back to ring in the new year together. The fireplace in our room was such a lovely romantic touch of class. The breakfast and service was also very good. ”

“It was a little out dated. No ports for phones. We had to go out and buy the right ones for walks. Also I room was next door to laundry and we thought we heard a train in the middle of the night and early morning but found out it was the washing machine and driers going off. Left early to go home to get some sleep. ”

“Pool and hot tub was down for maintenance, inconvenient but necessary for proper safe operation ”
