“The hotel aims to be a diverse resort, but the actual management appears chaotic and inefficient. Staff lack proper training in service, hygiene, and English proficiency, and the maintenance of hotel facilities is poor. Overall, the hygiene standards of the rooms and restaurant do not reach five-star levels, and the quality does not match the price. Unfortunately, this is currently the only upscale hotel on the island.”

“First of all the staff and breakfast were amazing. The hiking trip organised by the hotel was awesome. The location is really good. The downsides there were lots of bugs in my room. I killed them all and i thought that was the end of it then on the last day upon checking out there was a huge cockroach on the floor, i presume their mother. The water pressure for the hot water didnt seem to exist at times and you had to run it for a while to make it work. ”

“Great hotel and great location. A lot of cleaning up both at hotel (skybar and pool) and outside after typhon. It was very clean so we was very surpriced when we found a small bug living in the wall by the window at the breakfast. Otherwise it was a hreat stay. Restaurant in the hotel had so good food. Overall a fantastic stay. If i come back i will book this hotel and hope i get a toom with view over the bay. We had view over half the bay now. ”

“Amazing host. Can't give my compliments enough to Dat. He cared for each of us like we were a member of his family and I can say to any traveller you will always be in safe hands. “The best hotel ive stayed in so far on my trip to vietnam. Trung the receptionist was so helpful, I wish all were as good as him. He goes the extra mile and genuine service. The hotel was spotless and my room spacious with a great view of the bay, especially sunrise in the morning rising above one of the islet peaks. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone who prefers a quieter location away from the main town and very close to the cruise boat harbour. 5 stars from me”

“Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task.
