“I stayed on the north side for half of my vacation and at this spot for the second half. You definitely need a vehicle to get there. The site is cozy with plenty of amenities but know that it's camping. Everything functioned as it should. The fan was a very handy in the tent at night. It gets warm down here. It rained a bit while there so know that tents are never 100% waterproof. That said, none of my things got wet. If you are a tent camper, you know the normal culprits for leaks and plan……

“The glamping tents are just like they appear in the photos -- cute, tidy, etc. But what's missing from the listing is how wonderful the hosts are. The camping area is basically in their backyard, and they were so helpful the entire time. Both Yashire and Julian know the island like the back of their hands, and were able tell us so much about local history, turtle conservation efforts, local food, the best guides for the bioluminescent bay tours, and much more. Getting to hang out with them made……

“Short drive (0.5 miles) to the Salt Ponds beach/ Rams-head trail head. Also within Walking or driving distance to several less well known beaches. The Container was cool and comfortable. It even had electricity, WiFi and a flat screen t !!”

“The host is above and beyond what you could ask for. I definitely recommend this experience for any nature lover. The site was definitely worth the stay to hear all the beautiful sounds of St Croix. One of our favorite parts was watching the lizards in the grass behind the camp stove, there was such a variety and they just hung out without worry of being watched. We didn’t stay at his container home next door, but we saw it and it would be a perfect combination for a family with kids who want……
