“Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),……

“We absolutely loved this home and didn’t want to leave! The view of the water was serene and tranquil. We found ourselves gazing from the windows for hours and watching the wildlife. The bedrooms are perfectly placed with sunrooms attached to two of the rooms with thoughtful amenities provided throughout the home. The coffee and tea pods for the keurig was a nice touch. I spent a few days working remotely, and the wifi was strong and the samsung monitors were a great addition. Boothbay harbor……

“A terrific cozy cabin for a getaway with our dogs. The property was in a good location, close to town, with ample yard to explore wiwith the pups. The cabin was cozy and comfortable.”

“Rustic charm like I have not seen before. Be prepared to stay in a real log cabin, plank floors, pitched log walls and all. Rustic as I mentioned yet still has the creature comforts we like to take for granted, plenty of hot water, full kitchen including a dishwasher, and internet connection. If we get back I will stay there again for the big front porch and serene setting on the hillside above the water.”

“I wish I could give 5 stars, but I can’t. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon, at 4:30. We unlocked the door and entered into a powerful smell. Campfire. Black soot up the front of the fireplace and the smell was awful. And of coarse, we are super sensitive to the smell. Looking around, I found the couch to be filthy, every screen had nasty cobwebs, dirt on the floor, bedding filthy, mold on the shower floor, Bathroom faucet was disgusting and obviously not cleaned . I was profoundly disappointed,……

“Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.”
