"The apartment was very tired, the kitchen tap was out of position and was dripping, the bathroom sink was blocked, Coat hanger was off the wall. Only found instructions to download inside cupboard door as we left on how to operate appliances. No broom provided to clean terrace, chairs full of blossom. Very minimal provision of kitchen equipment. The location and ease of getting into Cambridge was very good, did not use catering, but nearby Sainsburys was a very useful. Receptionist very helpful....

"This hotel is perfectly located in the City Center. I had a great experience thanks to the polite and accommodating staff. The rooms were spotless, and I would rate the overall service a perfect 10/10. However, if you enjoy a hearty breakfast, this may not be the right hotel for you. While breakfast is included, it is quite basic. On the plus side, there are free snacks available all day."

"I didn’t get the check in info via Hotels.com and their address was wrong. But a simple phone call and an exceptionally helpful and friendly chap sorted everything within two minutes. The cottage was wonderful. So warm and inviting. Comfy and beyond clean. I’m definitely coming here again. "

"This property isn't ready to be let yet. Also windows should be considered as the vents needed to on constantly and air wick sticks necessary to avoid smell of mould"

"A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes."

"We try to stay here whenever we're in Saffron Walden, visiting family. We are very pleased with the property and the helpfulness of the owner and housekeeper. My only word of caution to prospective guests is that the narrow, winding staircase is not suitable for people with mobility issues, but that would be my only real reservation."

"Very close to railway station. We only stayed 2 nights but there ware foods and drinks ready to use which was very helpful. We didn’t need to go to get them and save time. I wasn’t informed but we had 2 bedrooms, my original booking was one bedroom so it was very spacious for us. Great stay, thanks!"

"House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. "This was a great property - really clean, great location, comfortable beds and clean towels etc. The property was a little "sparse" for my taste - not too homey feeling, but it was so clean and had everything that was needed. i would certainly stay again. The communication with the team House Luchini was fantastic - they were proactive and always answered any communication in a very short time. I was really impressed. "

"I stayed here for one night as was flying out of Luton the next day. Perfectly good and comfertable airport hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfy, nice bar/food area and an outside terrace which was great as it was a sunny warm evening. Food was good too - was surprised by how good the pizza was! "Great hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacious and the location is conveniently right opposite a Co-op and right next to the train station. Parking was cheaper than expected with an off-peak weekend tariff. Lovely breakfast. Leisure facilities were good and maintained but the pool did get very busy at times and it isn't a huge pool. Overall a very pleasurable stay and we would definitely go back."

Wonderful!

"I stayed in a privilege room for 2 nights and everything was so lovely. The room overlooked the golf course and was very peaceful. It was decorated and furnished to a very high standard, the bed was super comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything we needed and more. The whole hotel was superb, the food in the restaurant was excellent also. I can't recommend enough and I will definitely return."

Lovely relaxing family stay

"Second stay at this hotel with family, really enjoyed again and sure we will return. Staff all lovely and helpful especially with children. Small issue dealt with quickly. Really like the relaxed atmosphere in the bar and seating area and outside area around the lovely lake. Great being able to get good food not just in the restaurant. The pool is really nice but feel it would be good especially in the holidays to extend the kids swim times just a little longer as we were unable to use the pool on the first night and it wasn't very late at all. Stayed in a junior suite and really liked the extra touches. Having the kids on a large sofa bed in another separated part of the room makes a big difference. Also the jacuzzi bath and the inclusive well stocked mini fridge make it feel like value is added and help create a relaxing stay and make us choose this over other hotels in the area. Also the breakfast both days was very nice and no fuss."
