“At first glance, everything appeared to be in decent order. The more we unpacked and established ourselves is when the dirt, dust and cobwebs appeared. The closet door that appeared to cover the HVAC unit had fluffy tufts of dust and dirt stuck to the slats. The counters were greasy. There was residual food left in the bottom of the kitchen trashcan. The shower curtain had mold, dirt and hair stuck to it - I just went ahead and bought a new one and replaced it. We were sent a "skip the check in"……

“Had a great family vacation in Bethany. The home is in an excellent location, which made it very easy for us to get to the beach and the many shops/restaurants in town. Pet friendly home with a nice backyard area for our dog to go outside off leash. Would have appreciated a couple nice-to-have amenities when we arrived (such as dishwashing pods and extra paper towels and trash bags), but beyond that, the home was just as advertised. Great place!”

“We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. The bedrooms/bathrooms/family room and downstairs layout were so perfect for our group of family friends with lots of teens! We used all the areas - including the outside carport and deck. The kitchen was really well stocked, and so were the towels/sheets etc. Caroline was a wonderful and responsive host - we didn’t have any issues, just a question or 2 and she responded immediately. We would stay here again! ”

“Beautiful home with minor inconveniences and issues. Furniture was just adequate. Screens on porch needed mended or replaced. Tv was plugged into a switched outlet which took us a while to figure out and on a narrow stand which led to some fear of it falling. Great things were that there is a trolley that will take you into town as well as parking passes if you choose to drive in. Quiet development”

“The decor was a little outdated and the spiral staircase is a challenge to climb with luggage. silverware not clean and dirty towels in the washer. Construction on outside being worked on during our stay. Pool was nice and short walk to boardwalk and beach. Very convenient.”

“Overall the house and neighborhood were nice. The cleaning is lacking. There was visible mold, spider webs and dust in multiple places inside…we’re not particularly fussy about things but it was significant. The pullout bed had debris in it. We had spiders in the beds and ants in the kitchen and on the porch. On a positive note, the proximity to the trolley was great and the house would otherwise suit our needs for our family including a bunch of kids to get together. ”

“The bed was comfortable. The cleanliness of the property could use improvement. Porches covered with pine needles, vents and cold air returns filled with built up dust. Property managers “Vacasa” kept saying they would do whatever they could to rectify the situation. But never did anything. I ended up buying a broom to sweep the porches. Just not a good way to do business.”

“Overall really great. Nice property - just a few broken fans and lampshade. Short walk to the beach and boardwalk, quiet neighborhood. Nice playground within walking distance. Only issue was really faulty Internet that took several days to be fixed by Vacasa - their communication with me about this issue was not great.”

“The location was convenient, the pool was fantastic, and the neighborhood was quiet. We appreciated being able to bring our dog, but agree with the other listings that the screen door needs to be repaired (we could not use the porch because it was too buggy due to the screen tear) and that the steps leading to the outdoor shower need fixing. Other areas could use updating, organizing (washing machine area and under sinks), or deep cleaning (stains on rugs/couches) - this did not bother us, but……

“We had a good trip and stay at this place. The property was close to the beach, had features that made transitioning from the beach to the after beach day convenient: outdoor shower, screened in porch to keep beach wagon and eat lunch - including a half bathroom, washer dryer, small but functional kitchen and table.
