“Clean and cozy property. Beautiful furnishings, well stocked amenities, and lots of nice swings and chairs outside to enjoy the quiet peaceful view. Very relaxing and welcoming place.”

“The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this……

“This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding.”

“My family had a wonderful stay. If you love antiques and older style homes, you will love this place. It is decorated wonderfully and in the morning, we sat in the small back area room and watched the deer and peacock browse around. Everything was comfortable. (and I loved the Root Beer Floats that were provided). It is close to a highway, so a few vehicles zooming but other than that, a WONDERFUL stay!”

“Great location. Walking distance to town and river front city park. Just enough amenities to get by. Cabin was clean and comfortable. No door between the bedroom and living area was a bit inconvenient. I get up early, she sleeps later. Other than that we would definitely return again.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Texas Blue Apple Cottage. It was so comfortable with all the amenities of home. It is directly next door to The Apple Store Bakery and Cafe so easy access for breakfast or lunch. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.”
