“We stayed here thr week after hurricane helene and they did EVERYTHING humanly possible to support us as we worked on cleanup while doing their own cleanup. Great place, great people ”
“We really enjoy staying here. The location is great, easy to find, and away from high traffic area. Facilities are immaculate with up to date decor and comfortable beds. Communication is 5 star with easy reservations, confirmation, text message reminders, contactless check in and out.”
“The room is extremely small and the bed is also very small. I booked a king size bed and was given a double bed. My child could only sleep on the floor. No one came to change the bath towels in our room. The accommodation experience was extremely poor.”

The facility has seen better days. Elevator was slow, creaky, and in rough shape. Bathroom in our room was unacceptable. Large gaps in wall behind commode, and missing texture on ceiling above shower head. Shower spout was loose and about to fall off. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet. Fix the bathroom, and update the elevator, and everything would be good.”
“Our room was nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly. We were pulling an enclosed trailer and they made sure we had somewhere safe to park it. They even let us keep it there after we checked out of our room. Very friendly people/staff.”
“This was my 3rd stay with Parkway Inn and each time was a fine stay. This is not a Ritz-Carlton, but it’s certainly not priced as a Ritz would be either. But, if you’re looking for a good, safe stay in the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area, this just could be your place. The staff has always been more than accommodating, very friendly and each to deal with directly. There is no 3rd party company to deal with because most times you will deal directly with the owner. I will stay with them again when……
“What I like: location (near by the lake).
What I don't like: NO one at the lobby when we arrived at 11pm, NO one pick up the phone either, NO poster or instruction for self check-in (doubt if any), we end up need to book & stay at another hotel.
Note: the lobby's door is not locked, messy inside, and it looks like they are moving or will be filing bankruptcy soon.”
