“Earns the high rating and many positive reviews. Not your average chain hotel. Deluxe room with kitchenette, gas fireplace, comfy queen bed, and large shower with good pressure and plentiful hot water. Indoor pool and hot tub were lovely, and basically all ours during this low season time of year. Nice mountain views, scenic covered bridge, and short walking trails on the property. Breakfast was extensive and delicious, with attentive staff.”

“Although an historic property the Inn has been updated and we enjoyed a clean, well appointed room right down to a sound machine to ensure audial comfort and improve sleep! “This is a lovely old Inn. We found that there was not good lighting to read in our room and just one chair. As the weather was poor It would have been nice to spend time reading. Ther is a couch downstairs that we could have used. ”

“The area in Vermont was beautiful. The resort was clean and comfortable, but electrical outlets were worn out, could be a safety issue. The place had 2 TVs, but neither could work. The ownership of the resort is remote and had to call an 800 number for issues. We did not see any local management. The appliances in kitchen all worked good, and we liked being able to have space to make our own meals sometimes. The bathrooms had nice showers and clean. The beds were comfortable but not luxurious.……
