“Nice location right in middle of (QUIET) Hopland. Building and rooms are pretty dated with a lot of wear and tear. Bathroom wasn't very clean on arrival. Staff was super friendly though and bar/restaurant in building offered food and drinks. Other restaurants nearby too.”

“Clean, comfortable, well appointed throughout, and walking distance from downtown shops and restaurants for a less touristy alternative to Healdsburg. Expect wholesome and freshly prepared breakfasts like a vegetable frittata, house made yogurt, or an apple Dutch pancake, and appreciate that many of the the ingredients were grown on-site as you stroll through the Inn’s lovely garden. Will definitely return.”

“This is a remote place that I planned to go to, in order to escape the city. On Saturday the guests were mostly parents with young children. The Lodge Center was like a pediatric clinic at all times of day and evening. I was seated at dinner there, paying at $40- 60 price point menu, in a darker hall way next to an area where 2- 3 infants were crawling around,one at the table next to ours unattended. The Sunday night stay was much better, no kids and less dogs. ”

“Great place on the beach near Elk. Wonderful breakfast served in the room. We had the accessible “hideaway”. Roll in shower. If you can, lovely walk down to the beach. We would stay there again!!!”

“The 4 pm check in and 10 am check out is brutal. And the cleaning person was outside waiting for us to leave by 9:40 am when I loaded our car with our bags. That made us feel super rushed to leave. ”

“The house is awesome. Restaurants and stores are within waking distance. Golf course is less than a mile away! Watched seals layout on the beach. Amazing sunrises/sunsets. ”

“This is a very nice house in a good location. Most people would probably be happy with it. But it's different than the Sea Ranch houses we have rented at Sea Ranch over the decades. Though well equipped with dishware, there is not single spice (even salt and pepper), no foil or wrap, and a lack of useful items that you may not think of ahead of time. It feels a bit barren, and that was not helped when we asked for a later checkout and got a text back a few minutes later, even though it was late……
