“We stayed here for New Year’s Eve. Staff at check in and check out were very friendly and fun. We used valet parking $40 for overnight. Didn’t have to worry about the stress of finding parking in downtown Detroit on NYE. We had a river view room on the 17th floor. It was a nice size and great views of Canada and river front. Traffic was a bit nosey being right in the road but that is expected in the area. ”

“I like the location , close to 75 , many restaurants close by. The bad thing thst they offer breakfast and they are not set up for it. I had to pick up a quick breafast outside the hotel before i went to my meetings at 7am causing inconvience because not many options at 6am”

“The hotel was nice. It was centrally located with walking distance to all we wanted to do. Television didn't work for the first 24 hours we were there so they only offered us a member credit (we aren't members). You do hear some street noise at night. Overall we would use again. ”

“The service was amazing. The room was as described on the website. To my surprise, the restaurant good was very good! Only issue I had was in the breakfast banquet room, the guy was very rude. But I spoke with one of the staff via text and they said they will address is with him. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel. It is in the middle of everything! Everything is in walking distance. Two things to know, 1: is that there is a $49 valet parking fee. This was not expressed on the……

“Great stay! Stayed at this hotel due to its closeness to Pine Knob Ski Resort. We wanted a pool for our littles but the hot tub and sauna were amazing for the older kids and adults after a day of skiing! Only downsides were the hooks in the bathroom kept falling off the wall and the front area staff weren’t the most welcoming. But overall a wonderful choice for our family !”

“I loved how spacious this room was plus the walk in closet was really a nice plus! Huge bathroom. My only suggestion would be to put more hooks in the bathroom to hang your pajamas, robes m, wet swimsuits or whatever else you may want to hang up. Only 1 hook which the hairdryer bag was on and the sign suggested to hang on towels to be reused to be hung there as well! More please! The room would be perfect then! ”

“Stagg was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Pillows were not - some were exceptionally hard. And carpets were badly stained. Not sure if they are trying to perserve the carpet for some reason for originality? Overall, very good experience. Would recommend.”

“I wish the room has air purifier, like Japanese hotels do have them to reduce the room oder. Location is good, near by mall, i75 high way and banks. Room seems old a bit. The bed is too soft. The shower water pressure is low. ”
