「Service was impecable and the place nothing short of amazing. My hiking boots broke, they noticed and Sam offered to fixed them and they were line new. Oscar at the bar is a class act.」

「The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon) 」

「The staff are wonderful, both kind and efficient. The reception were helpful and made one feel so welcome on arrival. Getting there at night can be tricky as google maps is wrong while there are few signposts showing the way. The setting is fantastic and what a tranquil and relaxing place! Great place to see Nyungwe forest from.」
