Daniela is the best host. The area is nice, the restaurants are really good, the view is beautiful, there is lots of winetasting in the area, and it is impossible not to relax and enjoy the stay.

Wonderful Stay in a Quiet Town

A great home base

A great base for exploring the wineries of Valpolicella, Verona, and picturesque Lake Garda. The apartment is outfitted with all the amenities you might need. Marco, the host, was gave us a friendly welcome and was always available for anything we needed. Highly recommended!

The apartment is spacious and well fitted out with everything that we required , and all equipment was of a high quality . Lots of care had been taken with the apartment , and it was lovely to have the use of a garden . Picturesque countryside surrounds house and it's well placed for visiting historic towns and villages..

A nice appartment in the attic with friendly and helpful owners. Fully equipped and stylishly furnished. If you are tall you have to be careful because part of the apartment is so sloping that you can bump your head. With a lovely spacious garden with private pool.

Perfect location amongst the vines

We had a wonderful stay at this property, the hosts had thoughtfully provided everything necessary for our comfort and enjoyment. The apartment was very clean and surprisingly spacious. Marco and Daniela were very helpful throughout our stay and we appreciated the cherries and tiramisu which were delicious! The location in Fumane was excellent, short drive to Verona and Lake Garda and the drive into the mountains behind was superb, glorious views and interesting villages. We thoroughly enjoyed our nine night stay and could have easily stayed longer. Thank you Marco and Daniela.

Great place for our Wine tour.

Great apartment set in a peaceful location in Fumane, with great access to the many wineries, some of which are within walking distance. Daniella and Marco are wonderful hosts, a surprise homemade cake was a very nice touch. The apartment is clean , well appointed and has all the needed kitchen and dining bits and pieces. We were able to walk to four great restaurants in Fumane 1-2 km away, and a good supermarket is only 10mins by car. If wine is not your thing then there is also easy access to Verona, Garda, Vicenza, Padova etc. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay for Vinitaly

We had a wonderful stay while attending Vinitaly. The recommendation for taking the train into Verona was excellent. the station is a 10 minute ride to the station and It's one stop to the central train station in Verona. The apartment is well appointed and very peaceful. Nicely kitchen, comfortable beds, laundry and plenty of room. The only drawback is the ceiling height. If your over 5'10" you need to be careful not to hit your head on the ceiling beams. But with that said great location, wonderful hosts, with good recommendations on resturants and local activivites.

Where to begin... Excellent communication with Marco and Daniela. Every mail was answered quickly and positively. We arrived later than usual, A warm and caring reception. At home everything as described and appears in the pictures. We fell in love with the location and the village that offers what is needed. The house is air-conditioned so we enjoy the heat outside and the coolness inside. The pool is big enough for us, clean and clear. The house has all the equipment needed for cooking and even more. In conclusion, it is strongly recommended. Family or couple vacation. We will make every effort to return. Thank you Marco and Daniela.

Wonderful accommodation

We stayed for 5 nights in this beautiful property. We were welcomed by Marco who showed us around. He was constantly on hand throughout our trip to offer information or advice about the area. He suggested lovely restaurants and vineyards in the area which we loved. The property is unique and whilst there are no large windows inside you will appreciate the charm of the renovation of this old building. There is sufficient seating for 8 people but we would have perhaps liked more comfortable seating in the living area after long days sightseeing. Beds and bedrooms were perfectly clean and comfortable. No point complaining about the low beams - tall people learned to duck! (Not a problem for me). The garden is delightful and due to the weather we did not sample the pool but it is lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the garden more. Marco and Daniela have thought of everything in this home from home though, and we were delighted by all their thoughtful touches. The property is ideal to explore lake Garda and beyond and there are so many vineyards to choose from! Marco recommended a local one which we loved and the views from the hills are spectacular. Thank you for everything - we hope to return soon 😎

Schöner ruhiger Urlaub nahe des Gardasees

Es war ein schöner Urlaub und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abkühlung gab es im separaten Pool. Auch die Klima-Anlage war bei den Temperaturen in der Nacht super. Schöne Ausflüge in der Nähe, aber wohnen in Ruhe!

Traumhaft!

Wir verbrachten 1 Woche in dieser wunderschönen Gegend! Am Anreisetag bekamen wir die Info von Daniela, dass die Klimaanlage in der Unterkunft kaputt gegangen ist und so mussten wir spontan in die Unterkunft nebenan einziehen, was sich aber nicht als Problem herausstellte. Alles war sehr sauber, gepflegt und gemütlich, man fühlte sich sofort im Urlaub angekommen. Wir haben nichts vermisst, Daniela ist sehr nett und spricht super Deutsch! Die Gegend lädt zum Wandern ein und zum Gardasee und nach Verona fährt man nicht mal eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto. Selbst Venedig ist noch gut zu erreichen. Wer also nicht unbedingt den Touristentrubel direkt am Gardasee braucht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Gemütlich und Ruhig

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war perfekt für meinen Hund. Er konnte auf dem grossen Grundstück hin- und her rennen. Es war sehr gemütlich und vorallem ruhig. Wir konnten super den Weihnachtsstress umgehen. Halbe Stunde nach Verona ind halbe Stunde an den Gardsee Voelen Dank für alles

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr schön am Rand des Ortes inmitten von Weinbergen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Daniela war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele tolle Tipps geben. Wir konnten uns jeder Zeit mit Fragen oder Problemen an sie wenden und bekamen umgehend Antworten.

Einfach wunderbar

Wir haben zehn tolle und entspannte Tage bei Marco und Daniela verbracht und ausgiebig den Pool und die tolle Lage genutzt. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Prima fanden wir auch das Angebot, am örtlichen Wasserautomaten unweit der Ferienwohnung Trinkwasser (naturell und mit Kohlensäure) holen zu können. Dafür standen extra Glasflaschen und eine bereits aufgeladene Guthabenkarte zur Verfügung - eine super und nachhaltige Idee. Wir können Ferien bei Marco und Daniela nur empfehlen!!
