"Booked this spot day before on a whim. Was nervous considering it was the cheapest spot we stayed at on our trip to Japan, but it was great! Wife is still raving about the onsen. They have a sauna, cold plunge and warm and hot tub in public bath. Breakfast was fantastic. Service, top notch. Being familiar with Kyoto I liked the location a lot. Quieter, but literally connected to the train station for easy access to Kyoto station and beyond. It’s not right in the action of Kyoto (Gion district area) though, probably 20-25 min train or 15 min taxi. "

"The rooms are not big but it's 2-3 minutes from the Kyoto station which is a big plus. Highly recommended if you want quick access to Kyoto station."

"Clean rooms and well maintained. There were free free refreshments and coffee in the lobby between 10 and 18. Had everything needed in the room. Laundry was not as clean as you would expect compared to the other areas and only 3 machines and expensive."

"This hotel was very clean and wonderfully located directly across the Kyoto train station. It had a friendly staff and located near a shopping and restaurants. However, the restaurants below the hotel were not the greatest. But, loved the Hotel. "
