「This was the second time we have stayed at Acorn Cottage and it was just as good as the first. A lovely cottage in a very peaceful village with good access to the local area. The pub in the village (100m walk) serves excellent food and is very cosy. As to the cottage, it has a lovely "cottage feel" to it, very clean and very well equipped. The owners are very friendly and helpful and we would thoroughly recommend it as the perfect place to stay to explore the area.」

「Loved our short break in this superb location, the cottage had everything you need and the privacy and quietness of the area was amazing. Yes the lanes are truly country - tight, muddy and bumpy but nothing unusual or to put you off. 「Stunning location by the river. Remote and peaceful. Don't take a big car!!! Its a narrow track to the cottage!!! Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside decking area. Comfortable lounge. Very helpful neighbours and hosts. Our only complaint was the very noisy boiler which woke the whole house up every morning !」

「We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again 」

「This is an amazing location, feel like your floating 50feet above the sea. Love Kingsands anyway and have for years. Only down side is no outside space at all to store paddle boards etc or dry stuff. But the village is tight for space everywhere.」

「We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread.
