「Shower curtain in bathroom not long enough and did not reach shower floor which led to leakage and accumulation of water on small bathroom floor. Outside switch to spa did not work. Advised by reception later they needed to be advised if spa use was required so that it could be turned on by them . Suggest that sign be attached near outside switch to contact reception when spa has been turned off 」

「Check in was easy. The reception team member was pleasant and informative. There’s plenty of parking. The property is well maintained and has a lovely vibe. Great food and entertainment. Rooms are clean and pretty much sound proof. Our balcony overlooked the pool and lake on the 4th floor and was perfect to watch the sunset and sunrise. 」

「The hotel was very well located, with a really good porch or outdoor seating area overlooking the river. It was quiet and restful, but close to shops and restaurants. 「The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Reception was unattended when I arrived. It was a short wait for someone to come. The main issueis that Depite repeated requests and promises to comply for an invoice I have yet to receive one. As a business traveller I need the invoice for records. 「Wonderful break in the countryside. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Not too far from Newcastle’s beaches. Would have been helpful if room type description had more information about kitchen facilities. We weren’t sure if it had a hob/ oven (which it did in the 2-bedroom).
