“Really friendly welcome on arrival. Staff were really helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Would like to give a big thanks to Chris who greeted us on arrival. Room was was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our meals, we had dinner in the evening and cooked breakfast in the morning. Couldn’t fault either. Good selection for breakfast - cooked, continental, omelettes, pancakes. Would definitely recommend Maltsters Arms, and would stay here……

“It was ok the bed was very comfortable and spacious,room was ok but signs of damp on ceiling not so good ,had kettle and tea coffee and milk and water and microwave in room ,didn't feel like sitting in living room as it looked like housekeepers belongings at dining table ,shame no breakfast available but you get what you pay for as I enjoyed the comfy bed all to.myself ”

“Rooms were excellant, breakfast was really good but best of all the most dog friendly place I've everstayed!! This was an extremely busy Saturday night pub where I sat at the bar with my dog also sat on a stool. When door security come over and make a fuss of your dog and go and get some treats, it was just brilliant. A really lovely stay. I won't make the mistake of asking for a full English for breakfast in a Welsh pub again!!! ”

“This was a great place to stay for two nights when visiting Cardiff to watch the rugby with family. We had two apartments; they were brilliantly located, extremely functional and clean - which is exactly what we needed them to be. Luxury apartments they are not - and the price was very high because it was an international match weekend. But I’d definitely recommend as a base to stay and hang out. ”

“Good for what we needed. Tea and coffee facilities were great. Iron and Hairdryer included in the room was a good touch, first time I've ever needed to use them and they worked. The pool was ok, slightly too busy, but we did use it at peak time (evening). Great stay.”
