"Great experience staying at the Regent. Service was excellent and very welcoming. Taxi service very convenient. Mattress seemed firm but I slept great. They were doing construction during the day a few floors up but it was hardly noticeable apart from the first day when we were napping due to jet lag."

"Pros: very clean hotel. Staffs are polite and helpful. Room was very large for 2 pax. Cons: far from nearest MRT. There is only a one way free shuttle the hotel provides to the MRT. And it will take more than 15mins walking from MRT to hotel. Nearby areas lack of restaurants/cafes or shop options. Room is also not soundproof. We could hear neighboring noises in hallways and in the rooms. "

"The place is so convenient and just across the Taipei Main Station. The room is so cozy and the staff replenishes the stocks and does make up room the everyday. The toilet is like of those of Japan (with seat heater and bidet buttons) and the bathroom is so tidy and clean. Staffs are so friendly and accommodating. Their common area has a vending machine, computer, weighing scale and water dispenser with unlimited water for guests. Will definitely book this place again! "

"About 15 mins walk from the Metro. Note that Taipei has lights controlled pedestrian crossings everywhere so even if you're a fast walker you'll have to stop a lot The breakfast is good, the room is clean. Note that you can't flush toilet paper (my other hotel in Kaohsiung was the same), you must put it in the provided bin. "Room is spacious and very well maintained. Booked a Deluxe King Room and requested for a crib for my kid. Crib was in room upon arrival. In the middle of 2 metro station and is about 10mins walk. Plenty of good option within walkable distance."
