The apartment we stayed in was well appointed and very clean. The owner was really accommodating and provided many good amenities.

Quirky lodging with pros & cons
PROS: Personable host, large bedrooms, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen/dining table, quiet rural location, outdoor seating areas, sauna available (didn't use it), good wi-fi. Not far from tourist attractions (caves, castles). CONS: 2 toilets located on 1st level & none on 2nd level where bedrooms are located (16 stairs to negotiate during the night!). One bedroom has shower/sink in room. Separate shower/sink room on 1st level. Lack of comfortable indoor common area for hanging out - just the dining table with small bench & 4 hard chairs on 1st level. Rainy weather prevented using outdoor areas during our stay. No air-conditioning per se - just a central fan system that was OK, but may not be sufficient in hot weather. No clothes washer/dryer in house, which we were expecting - perhaps somewhere else on the property? Risky concrete steps with no handrail from car park to front entrance. Lack of nearby restaurants that were open during our stay.

In viel Arbeit selbst gebautes oder erhaltenes Gebäude. Wirkt sehr authentisch. Tolle Terrasse und das drum herum ist familiär und einfach nett. Kann man sehr gut machen! Vielleicht in der Küche mal alles Alte auswerfen und durch neues ersetzen. Sonst passt alles und wir fanden es einen top Ausgangspunkt für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten! Danke!

House Na Meji With Sauna
Wir waren eine Woche in Pivka und haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Marko spricht sehr gut Deutsch und versorgte uns mit Tipps und Anregungen für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist groß, insbesondere die beiden Schlafzimmer. Die Küche hat alles Nötige, ist aber recht klein. Gefehlt hat uns allerdings eine Kaffeemaschine. Wer möchte, kann aber auch bei Marko im benachbarten Gästehaus frühstücken. Hervorheben wollen wir den großen Garten und den tollen Blick über die weite Ebene, den man von der Terrasse des Hauses genießen kann. Wir können das Haus wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Das Haus ist groß, insbesondere die zwei Schlafzimmer. Die Küche ist eher klein aber funktionsfähig. Was uns fehlte war die Kaffeemaschine. Wer möchte, kann aber auch bei Marko frühstücken, der dies für die Urlauber täglich anbietet. Hervorheben möchten wir die ausgesprochen ruhige Lage und den wunderschönen Blick über die Ebene, den man von der Terrasse aus genießen kann. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen.
