"Die Ferienwohnung ist klasse! Wir waren nur zu zweit, aber da können gut 5 oder 6 Leute wohnen, zumal es durch die drei Schlafzimmer auch Rückzugsräume gibt. Einrichtung sehr angenehm, Küche super ausgestattet. Auch das Heizen mit dem Holzofen (gibt auch normale Heizung!) hat gut funktioniert. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die unten im Haus wohnen. Huhn und Schaf haben wir zwar nicht gesehen, dafür den tollen Kater Mo! Viele Städte und Ausflugsziele sind in 15 - 20 km Entfernung, also gut ohne...

"Das Haus hat einen phantastischen urigen Charme. Es hat uns an den Fuchsbau von Harry Potter erinnert. Einfach phantastisch. Die Kinder waren auch mehr als begeistert. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Man kommt schnell überall hin und die Aussicht ist grandios.Wir können dieses Objekt nur weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder."

"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"Es war ein wunderbarer, ruhiger und entschleunigender Aufenthalt direkt am Waldrand über Silvester mit meinem Hund. Es gab ein paar vereinzelte Böller im Laufe des Silvesterabends. Um Mitternacht war ein wenig mehr los, was aber nach etwa 30 bis 45 Minuten vorbei war. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtetund mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein weiteres Highlight für mich war der Kamin und natürlich der phänomenale Ausblick vom Balkon. "

"Room very clean and tidy with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were very nice and helpful bearing in mind that our German is very limited. Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

Schloss Weissenburg - misleading pictures

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

"Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable lodging in a central location. Small water bottle in room at arrival would have been nice, but local mints in bathroom and Christmas chocolate on pillow were very thoughtful. Would also have liked to see homemade jam instead of high glucose factory stuff as an extra touch at breakfast. Blackout curtains worked and bathroom was modern and spacious. Would definitely stay again. "
