「Consider yourself lucky to stay at this place! Great location: not too far from town/ferry; located on an accessible beach to explore. We stayed for 4 nights, and it was perfect for our short trip. The host was very accommodating & helpful for us first-time visitors to Orcas Island. We are so appreciative of the Instruction Manual provided: ***Do read before! its very informative & will enhance your visit!** House was clean & ready for us. Lots of utensils/pots/pans for cooking/preparing food...

「The Orcas Hotel is for people who like the charm of past century architecture and conditions and don't mind paying an arm and leg for it. I was desperate for accommodations for a couple of nights at the peak of summer, so grabbed the couple of nights available here. The first night I payed $195 for a bed, bath, TV and floor fan. The 2nd night I paid $100. for a bed, dresser, & bath down the hall. Not a good value, but they charge that much since they can. 」

We didn’t realize the neighbouring building is a restaurant with the back kitchen door opening almost directly across from the suite: the restaurants door was open later into the evening/night and was quite a bit noisier than I was expecting.
