“House was in a gorgeous (if remote compared to the amenities on the island) location. Other reviewers remarked that the interior is a bit dated - it is, but the property was clean and well-maintained. We found the external lockbox (with the key) difficult to open, but otherwise no complaints. ”

“Super sweet views of the water, islands, & sky. Very nice private beach, and peaceful setting. The kitchen is well equipped. Bed was comfortable, couch and chairs were comfortable. The code to the door didn’t work, and after trying it numerous times, we texted Vacasa and they responded with a different code for the lock box which got us in with a key. The light above the stove, under the microwave was burned out, so cooking was dimly lit. I’m sure they will replace the bulb tho. The coffee……

“Nice house with easy access to Eastsoumd village. Love having an enclosed yard for my dog. Beach access was tricky for older adults with unsteady feet. I would recommend adding a non slip mat and grab bar in the shower/tub combo.”

“The Forest House is beautiful everywhere you look. When we woke up it was a foggy morning, with the sun shining through the trees... just perfect. My only regret is that we wanted to explore Orcas, so we didn't have as much time at the Forest House as we would have liked.Bring lots of provisions and stay in for the day to truly enjoy the property. Northwest Vacations was super easy to get ahold of and sent clear communication with check-in and checkout instructions. Thanks so much!”

“Our family had a perfect spring break getaway. Kristen was a wonderful and attentive host, the information on the online guide book was so helpful and appreciated and the house was amazing. There was everything we could need and more and it was so cozy. Our teenage son made the big great room his domain, the BBQ was so nice to do some grilling, and the view from the living room was so peaceful. We also enjoyed relaxing in the rocking chairs in the garden. We saw otters, seals, dear and……
