「Best holiday villa we have ever stayed in! The villa was so spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. The view from the villa’s infinity swimming pool was truly stunning! We received a very warm welcome from Jorge on our arrival to the villa. Jorge was extremely helpful and gave us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and places of interest to visit on the beautiful island of Madeira. The villa is only a 5 minute drive from Calheta beach and marina. We were spoiled for choice!...

「The house is located in a small charming fishing village. The view of the ocean below is spectacular! We went with another couple for 8 nights and the home was very comfortable. We would highly recommend it!」

「House and management were top notch. Arrived with food and wine on counter and also had gifts dropped off halfway through stay… house was beautiful and had all the amenities needed for the week, just bring food. Only downside was the bathroom showers flooded the bathrooms.. besides that we had a great experience. Thank you Jose and management. 」

「The home is high on a hill, modern and very clean. The pool is wonderful and a perfect temperature. We stayed for 1 month. Beatrice met us at the house and responded to our questions quickly. The cleaning crew came in once a week which was fantastic We were not prepared for how steep and narrow the roads were in our area, but it appears to be the norm. My husband eventually became an expert driver. Madeira is a wonderful place to visit. We are happy we chose An Island Apart. 」

「The house was new and very clean. Garden around the house was lovely. Sunset views were amazing. Jorge was nice and very responsive. We had issue with unpleasant smell in bathrooms on rainy and windy days ( due to air pressure). Parking was not next to the house and sometimes unavailable so we had to park on a street below. 」
