「stayed here for two nights. lake view is nice but that's about it. the insulation is bad. fortunately neighbors' conversation was muffled and intelligible. every time a neighboring door closes it sounds like someone's slamming the door. one lamp cover in the bathroom actually overheated and cracked when i was away briefly. glass splinters scattered the bathroom sink area and a big piece landed on the floor. luckily i was not using the sink when it happened. the spa and sauna was available but...

「Wonderful to stay in the garden caravan with my young son. Pam and Nev are wonderful hosts, the Caravan is spotless and perfect place to stay. Brilliant location right on the lakeside, playground, bush walks, golf and Rotorua just 20 minutes or so away. This was our second visit and we had such a good time. Thank you for having us. 」

「This is a great area down by the lake, very peaceful. The boathouse has everything you'd need and is super comfy. Sarah is friendly and instantly responsive to any questions. 100% would stay again. Very pleasant.」

「We had a lovely stay at the hut. It’s in a great location to explore the geothermal sites. We loved being away from the city and being so connected to the outdoors. Scott and Shona are friendly welcoming hosts and the hut is really beautifully handcrafted full of stories. I now want a hut in my backyard!. 」

「Up to date HRV and heat pump - good internal temp control. Brand new oven, it seems. Quiet, spacious. Rather poor mobile reception, partly resolved with signal booster. No WIFI (Hard to watch AB's and F1). No sink plug in bathroom. Water pump forgotten to be enabled, but resolved rapidly.」

「Excellent location for a summer getaway, suburb views, great kiwi batch with exceptional hosts. The hot water beach and ability to kayak from the house to the near by hot springs is a bonus! We look forward to staying again. 」
