"This is a very pretty, instagram able hotel. It is clean and the staff was very nice. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the rooms do not have a deadbolt, chain, or other way for someone inside the room to lock the room so that a hotel employee with a key cannot enter. This is a dealbreaker for me - I would not have stayed here if I had known. The reason is that years ago in another country a hotel employee entered my room with a key and assaulted me. Short drive but long walk (1.5 miles) into town for restaurants ( breakfast, dinner, etc). Hotel is located close to volcanic springs so location is particularly smelly (sulphur fumes etc). Could be viewed as adding to charm/adventure or being a detraction, depending on personal taste. "
