"All staff we encountered were really helpful and friendly. I accidentally locked myself out my locker at the spa at check out date and the staff were more than happy to help. We were greeted with a welcome drink and after we completed check in, we were told we were upgraded to a room with a hot tub. Oliver helped us to our room and explained how to use the hot tub and explained that the hot tub may be noisy as it is closer to the room than the floors above. The bathrooms may need a little upgrade, however, the room itself was lovely and relaxing. The spa is nice and relaxing. It isn’t big, however it has the essential, changing rooms with Elemis products, pool, 2 x hot tubs, plunge pool, sauna and steam room. You can get a drink from the bar from inside the spa. Only small con I have is there isn’t many loungers to chill on, however, this will not stop me from going back. The breakfast was in a beautiful room and really nice spread and options. Staff were a delight too. The hotel and spa was beautiful and I cannot wait to return. It is £12 to park your car there, however, it is for the full duration of your stay. The only minor con is the guests who stay in the hot tub, you are on the full view of people, please be mindful of what everyone can see what you are doing. "

"The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was great and the views are spectacular. Prices for eating are very reasonable. Easy to go for long walks on the promenade or the beaches. Close to other amenities, shops, etc. Surrounded by lovely countryside to go exploring."

"We recently stayed at the North Lakes Hotel & Spa as a stopover on our journey from Scotland to England, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the family room was perfect for us. The children were thrilled to find named biscuits and their own welcome packs waiting on arrival – such a thoughtful touch! One of my personal highlights was the fresh milk machine just outside our room, which made bedtime bottles for the kids super easy. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and catered really well to our family’s needs. While the hotel was incredibly child-friendly overall, we did find the restaurant a bit tricky – it was lovely but hard to get a reservation, and it didn’t feel quite as geared towards families as the rest of the hotel. That said, we would absolutely return and highly recommend it for anyone travelling with children – it made our long journey so much more enjoyable and comfortable."

"Stayed here with my daughter as a base for enjoying some waking. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfasts there but it was really tasty with good service. The venue is very nice with a sense of history to it. Room was spacious and comfortable. May be in the process of getting refreshed as some parts seemed very fresh and modern while other bits looked more traditional. Great value for a very pleasant place to stay and a perfect base. "
