“We had a lovely 2 night stay in a cozy ensuite room. Great location with ample free parking. Suited our needs perfectly. Very nice complimentary breakfast. Warm welcome from Victor who goes the extra mile. Would definitely choose again. ”

“Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle……

“Wonderful stay. Rich and staff were especially responsive to my needs, going out of their way to help. Room 3 is fantastic and the breakfasts were superb. Try the salmon bagel! Will return.”

“We had a really lovely stay. The food was very nice. There is so much to do at the Woolpack. They have lots of games such as darts and pool. It is incredibly homely. We visited in the winter and we were made very welcome. ”

“The meal options are great but check when the kitchen is open when you arrive. Breakfast is very good. The situation is perfect for peace and quiet, particularly for visiting Leighton Moss. It would be helpful if the wi-fi details were available in the room, but the staff are very helpful and pro-active so it was easy for me to get this (and other) information.”

“A beautiful location, very peaceful and a welcoming host who was very attentive. A lovely spacious bedroom, great bathroom. Breakfast was substantial and I enjoyed the short walk down to the lake, along with the gardens which added to the vibe, along with the hens! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.”

“We have been to Ambleside many times but this was our first stay here. Lovely B&B in great location in town. Hosts friendly and welcoming. Bedroom small but comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast excellent. Would definitely return.”

"The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered scrambling egg with smoked salmon toast, they said no more but I saw other customers have it, I thought smoked salmon and egg are very common foods in a hotel restaurant, I wondered why they can tell me no more stocks. I just can say this hotel not worth for money, they are overpriced. Staffs are not really friendly. "
