“Lovely place for our short weekend trip. Property was well kept, clean, well stocked and roomy. Overall park was nice but not many facilities for young children (the play park could be much better) however the pool was great baby pool well heated! Great location close to amenities and Hastings town. Owner responsive and helpful. Thank you for a great stay”

“We stayed for three nights, and really enjoyed pottering round Rye and mornings on the beach. Robin Hill is a wonderful place to stay, a welcoming and comfortable family home. Communication was excellent, the house very clean, and it was so nice to stay somewhere with character and history in equal measure! Many thanks :)”

“We were after a short break in the area away from the city life and this was the place. The wildlife is just amazing on your doorstep and the local walks are really good too. It was lovely to sit out in the garden in the evening and hear only the wildlife and watch the birds in there abundance on the feeders. Everything you could need at the cottage is provided. Jan & Nick are close at hand if you ever need anything and are easy to talk too.”

“We have stayed at Chesterfield Cottage many times and have always enjoyed it. If you are staying in true this location really can’t be beaten. Literally seconds from the famous Rye landgate and all of the local pubs and restaurants. Also only a few miles from Camber Sands. The cottage itself is very quaint and comfortable and we have found it to always be clean and well maintained. Thoroughly recommended if you want to visit Rye.”

“This is our second stay at Stone Green Oast, and it was just as nice this time as it was six years ago. The oast itself is a neat building, very comfortable inside, with everything one could want. Immaculately kept, everything works, beautiful view of the gardens, pleasant outside seating. Amanda and Andrew are perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome, and were always available in case of need. We hope to be able to return again soon.”

“We were hoping for a property with enough space for a gathering of the family to celebrate recent birthdays and a Golden Wedding Anniversary, and the farmhouse offered us amazing opportunities! As soon as Kelly welcomed us and showed us round, we felt 'at home'. The sense of family history added to the experience, and we really enjoyed the privilege of living there for a short time. Everyone from the age of 5 to 75 was comfortable in the range of spacious rooms, and our requirements for sleeping……

“The check-in was super uncomplicated and Maria provided a very thorough explanation of the property. She was contactable by phone at all times. The location of the property is great, the property itself is a great old house with plenty of space and some nice extras (i.e. Tennis court and Hot Tub, both in good condition). Cleanliness, however, was disappointing at best. Fridge, kitchen drawers, oven etc had obviously not been cleaned for a while. All sinks and bathrooms were quite grim, bed……
