「I booked the stay at White Cottage for my wife, Anne, as she was visiting from Australia and needed a location close to her family in Wombourne. She was delighted with the friendliness of Jackie & Rob who made her feel completely "at home". The room had everything that she needed and the breakfasts were superb. The added extras were very much appreciated too. Hopefully, we can both stay there next year when we are back in the UK. Anne highly recommends White Cottage for a stay in the Midlands.」

「Good fast check in, with a smile. Breakfast bacon etc was cold. Mentioned it they took it away re heated it and put the same back out. Coffee is 0-10 , tasted like the river water. Clean restaurant, good staff. Good location, a lot of uber eats places etc local. Overall a decent stay would come back」

「This place was a hidden Gem amazing. The Venue was what I considered a Castle on the outside, and on the inside is a little more on the modern side with some touches of the old. Very nice and quiet. It was enjoyable.」

「When we checked in, discovered the booking was for room only. Sure I'd booked for breakfasts as well. Sorted by the hotel easily enough, but more hassle. 」

「The Park View is an absolute gem in the middle of a rough area. The staff are wonderful and Hamilton's restaurtant is a treat. Dined there every morning and evening of my stay. Thank you!」

「Really happy with the welcome from the reception, The ambiance of the hotel was excellent. Parking was easy too. We got a drink at the bar but all the tables were set up with cutlery and menus. The seating was set up for dining only, I would have preferred a comfy armchair, or a ‘snug’ to rest in after a busy day. We had no choice but to go back to our room. There was a room with 4 chairs. But not at all welcoming. Detached and cold, One felt as though you were in the naughty room. Lovely nights...

「Nobody told me there's activity beside Hotel. All road block and we can't access to hotel after dinner. The road resume almost at 10pm and we spend 2 hours wait outside. Its troublesome to my family. I must complaint to IHS office for the negligence of Hotel staff.」

「Staff were very polite and friendly. Car park was full (had the last place) and the bar was very noisy - a lot of people and it was Friday. The meal was good “pub grub” and the local ale was wonderful - Wye Valley brewery.」
