"My husband and I loved this hotel! It was cozy, clean, well maintained, decorated beautifully and included all of the perfect little touches that set it above most others. We enjoyed having the little breakfast bags delivered to our door each morning, as well as the turn down service each evening, complete with treats to wind down our day. There were always snacks in the lobby, and candies scattered around the hotel. We were offered a free bottle of wine or champagne upon our arrival as well as convenient valet parking. The in-house art gallery was filled with beautiful work from their resident artist, which we enjoyed during an afternoon walk. The staff was phenomenal! Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and always willing to accommodate with reservations or other needs. The location was perfect, right in the downtown area near restaurants and shops as well as the waterfront and fountains.If you have younger children you might prefer a more casual hotel with a pool, as this hotel is more appealing to adults seeking a quiet getaway. We will not hesitate to stay here again next time we are in Charleston!"
