「The property was in a good location for us as it was on the edge of the French Quarter and away from a lot of the action. It was next to a stop for the red streetcar which was very handy when it was working. Employees were very nice and accommodating. Property had garage parking which was great. The room was a nice size for an extended stay.」

「While Lamothe House is a bit of a faded beauty, what she lacks in polish she more than makes up for with her character, accommodating staff, excellent location and lovely pool area. Our room faced the street and was rather noisy at night but many rooms are tucked inside and should be very quiet. Thanks especially to Gary and Carol who made us feel welcome and cared for. I would absolutely stay there again.」

「Incredibly beautiful historic hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has gated entry which feels secure and private. Any time we left or returned to the hotel we would receive a wave from whatever staff member was closest to the gate. The location is perfect for walking, very conveniently located to Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde, Royal Street, a tram station, and far enough from Bourbon Street that it is quieter but still easily accessible to party. 「This hotel is all about location. walking distance to everything you want to experience about French Quarter.--- Fresh Market, Frenchmen Street (which I loved- music, dancing, great restaurants). Bourbon Street (not so much- unless you're one of the young, obnoxious drunks), I would say this hotel would be a gem if the rooms were updated. a little paint and caulk would go a long way.
