「We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Forest. The campground is stunning - we had a massive redwood right next to our cabin. There were a few issues that came up during our time there, but the management team was very responsive and helped us resolve them. If you want a peaceful, sylvan place to stay while visiting the Redwoods, this is a great option.」

「The motel is the most dirty and most expensive one in my self-driving traveling history. Used toilet paper is floating in the toilet.the floor is covered by dirty oils.Service is very bad.Receptionist is impolite.」

「Such a cute property in a gorgeous surrounding. We were only here for one night but contemplated extending our stay an additional night because we enjoyed it so much. The property has trails right outside your door but we were not able to explore this during our stay. Cute restaurants and amazing beach are a short drive away. We will definitely be back to visit here and decided that we’ll stay here again! 」

「This was me and my partners anniversary and this place did not disappoint! The owner was able to help us when we got lost a few times. The location is quite far out but that’s also a huge plus for us! There was so many amenities and I loved how inclusive it was with the awesome/easy to use propane heaters along with fully operational kitchen, bathroom, and gorgeous outdoor shower with hot water! We stayed in the tent and loved every second. The owner was really kind and accomodating!」

「My wife and I left Arcata Forest Retreat this morning after what may have been our easiest and most comfortable trip stay. Andrea has clearly put a LOT of thought and effort into curating a comfortable and clean space, with just about everything you'd need.
