「Three nights stay - done a few now. Unfortunately, and not the hotels fault a particularly noisy neighbour this time around. Finally gave up trying to sleep at 3am and visited reception. I was given another room to get my head down for a few hours. Grateful for that - shame it happened due to some unruly guests. 」

「The location, cleanliness of room and service from the staff was good. However felt let down and disappointed as neither my husband and l didn’t experience a good night sleep. 「A classic hotel with comfortable, spacious rooms. Friendly and competent receptionists. Nice breakfast. Continent breakfast self-served buffet or hot, customised English breakfast That take quite a while. If come by train, need to get a taxi ride of 8-10 minutes. We arrived late in the evening. Have to queue for half an hour at the taxi stop.」

「Very very very bad hotel ever , the staff is very rude, the room is dirty, no hot water, from 9 pm to 2am , someone talking loudly in the pathway, I make complain with staff, they said nothing to do , it cost me 64 pounds , not worth it. Overall bad bad very bad hotel」

「Excellent service from all staff. Lovely quiet room . Breakfast was nice a lot of choice. Unfortunately the bed was not right but I used a grounding sheet which really helped for the second night. Overall I recommend this hotel :)」

「On arrival check in was actually at a desk near side of the main bar area in the main pub/restaurant area not at a reception desk as shown on hotel pictures within in the hotel itself. limited staff at check in due to same staff also running the bar/restaurant customers, then unexpected on arrival never mentioned prior on the booking was then greeted with a £50 extra payment charge to pay before proceeding any further due to recent damage/theft at the hotel, which was quite a knock back but...

「Was greeted pleasantly on arrival , even had my room upgraded which was super. Room was clean. Everything worked. Staff helpful and breakfast in morning was very good. I’ve eaten here at dinner before too and that was tasty with good service. 」
