"The service was incredible and they provided drinks vouchers for the sky bar in return for making an error with our room booking. The room itself was very spacious, though just starting to show its age slightly as the shower temperature was uncontrollable and the wardrobe light was sparking when opened. The facilities were excellent and all in all this was a brilliant hotel with friendly and helpful staff."

"Having landed on the evening of the Earthquake impact, everything was chaotic and they ended up downgrading me to a standard room as the premium room was damaged due to the quake. This room also had cracks and made me really worried being on a high floor. However next day I was upgraded to a suite and that compensated for the 1st night. The breakfast was very good but not much of other services available for a 5 star. "
