「I was surprised to find out how far this property was from main points of interest, given how expensive transportation is. A positive is how quiet it is, in comparison to downtown, but options for dining, shopping, etc. are very limited. The property itself was fine except that the wifi was very unstable. If you need to work at all, or use the wifi for your mobile service (like I did), then this is not a feasible option. 」

「This was a perfect place for a couple to stay. It was well decorated and had everything we needed. We want to go back and will definitely stay in the same place. It was so nice to be near the beach and to have a pool.」

「This apartment has a lovely vibe and all the comfort I could possibly need. The property is right on the beach, and the owners are so kind, helpful, and accommodating. I’ve stayed here before, and I’ll surely be back. Love it!」

「Took my son (8) here for Spring Break and he never left the water park from 8 am - 5 pm… needless to say this place was a hit. I felt completely comfortable sitting by the pool while he swam the lazy river and went down the slides. Lifeguards were everywhere and to get on and off the beach required the wrist band.」

「Huge room with access to the full, modern home. Comfortable and safe. Easy walk into town. Krissy was very friendly and taught me a lot about the island. Definitely the nicest place i stayed in during my time in the Bahamas. 」

「I am originally from The Bahamas and spent every Easter as a child in Rock Sound with my grandparents. My wife and I decided to spend Easter this year with my family. The property is full of history, having been part of the Rock Sound Club started by Arthur Vining Davis. Karen has done an absolutely remarkable job renovating this part of the property - everything from the flooring to the landscaping, interior design...it was all so clean and looked new. AC in the rooms, fridge, good water...

「My stay at the Pilot House was nothing but amazing. Karen, the owner, was very responsive to messages, making sure I found the place easily and providing great recommendations around the Island. The rooms are newly renovated with a luxury hotel feeling. Staying at the pilot house was above expectations. Looking forward to staying there again.」
