“Nice village pub. The ale was excellent. Pretty small room with tiny bathroom. Overall enjoyed our stay. We ate at the pub and the food and choice was pretty good. The fish pie was a little dissapointing, didnt see a prawn, and no smoked haddock to give flavour. Some nice walks by the river. Unfortunately didnt have time for the long walk to the coast and Ladram bay. A pity there was not close parking to do that.”

“This is a fantastic property, made all the better by the staff who work hard and do a great job. It feels like a warm and friendly b&b more than a hotel, in a good way. The location is excellent, so close to sw coastal path, bus routes, cinema, beach and so much more. The room was exactly as described, very clean, tidy and exactly what I was looking for. Well done mount pleasant - fabulous! ”

“This is both an amazing location and an amazing hotel. Rob, the host, was a perfect one. He welcomed us, told us god places to eat etc and explained how the car park worked. The room was amazing. Clean, tidy and with the most amazing sea view. Coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels were pristine and the building was in superb condition. A really restful and comfortable stay If I had a single issue it was the car park. I found it stressful to leave a car in it blocking other cars in……

“It is challenging to find a perfect hotel in smaller towns in Europe. But everything about The Boutique hotel surpassed our expectations. The room, location and access were of course great. But what made the stay so good was the personalised attention we received from the owners. On the day of our check-in, we were informed on the phone that as it was election day we had to get there by 6pm to let the staff go out to vote. But even though we were a bit late due to traffic, they were gracious……

“Beautiful location in amazing village. Room was okay for few nights although possibly may need a bit more deep clean at some point in time as few things felt overlooked. All in all pkeased with our stay!”
