“Nikki & Eddie were the perfect hosts, taking obvious pride in keeping their B&B looking its best. There was even a complimentary upgrade of room when they heard it was the birthday celebration of one of us. Location superb. Off the bustling road but right on the beach. Just right to enjoy the sunrise, sailing boats, crazy early morning swimmers etc. Perfectly cooked breakfasts, delicious coffee. A nice small fridge in the room that was just about enough to take a bottle of sparkly. Friendly……

“Fantastic place to stay! Very clean and well maintained period property with an interesting history! Our room was also very clean, with a good shower in the en-suite bathroom. There are good tea/coffee making facilities in the room, even a mini-fridge for keeping everything fresh. Everything was replenished daily, even the lovely selection of biscuits! Breakfast was superb and all included in the price. There was good selection of fruit, yogurt and serials plus a fantastic full English breakfast……

“Julie my wife and I stayed at kates farm for three nights for a break and a rest, we had a great break and we are totally rested. Fantastic break, Julie and Kate walking dogs every morning and evening, I kept the real fire going and that was perfect for us to sit down next to in the evening. Others said the breakfast was great and they are correct, Kates breakfast was fantastic .Kate was very attentive at all times and we felt perfectly at home.”

“The magical mattress and pillows gave us a very comfortable night stay at Calm Sea. The room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds is cozy and good size. We love the little corner table with some games. The breakfast is awesome! The hosts Mel & Trish are very friendly and helpful :)”

Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet.”
