「Great stay, fantastic location. 」

「Quaint and original vintage 1960s motel. Large, clean rooms. Easy parking. No elevator. Meghan was great and arranged late check in. The tiki bar is a lot of fun and we enjoyed the live band and had good food. The music is loud and right downstairs so be warned if you’re early birds but it was all closed up before 11pm. 」

「The hotel is quaint, Old Florida style on a private marina. Very cute outdoor sitting areas. Continental breakfast is basic. Rooms are Very small - very grateful to have been upgraded to waterfront with a shared balcony and chairs. The hotel is non-smoking. It is too bad guests don't adhere to the rules and thus annoy other guests by smoking wherever they choose. Front desk was receptive and offered to change our room. 「The balcony I chose couldn’t see the sunset, and the room was very small, the toilet didn’t even have an exhaust, the air conditioner was very noisy, and there were two doors in the room leading to the next door, although it was sealed, it felt unsafe, and the sound insulation was particularly poor」

「The very congested 1 road in and out of island made travel almost impossible. We understand the hurricane destroyed nearby restaurants that would be walkable, but eating at Diamond Head grill/bar and Coste EVERY night is not what we had in mind for vacation. We had lots of rest, which was needed but not much else to do. The property was lovely and clean, but probably would not come back until other eating options are open.」
