"This hotel is pretty good for its price. It exceeded my expectation. The biggest plus point is that it is a block away from Minsheng station and hotel is clean, nice & friendly staffs. The neighbourhood is pretty good & there are lots of good & cheap restaurants nearby & takes 10-15 mins subway rides to downtown or city center. "

"I stayed here one night on a business trip to Shanghai. This is far from a luxury hotel and I knew that when I was booking. The location was great for me, just a short walk to the metro station. If you are looking for somewhere close to attractions this might not be the place, but again, it's less than a 10 minute walk to the closest metro station and from there you can go anywhere. "Hotel was in good condition, and staff were helpful when required. Well worth the price. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was no doubt fine for those used to Chinese style food but underwhelming to the average westerner. But breakfast is an optional extra so no problem."
