從威爾帕扎 (Virpazar) 開始您的旅程，這是一座位於斯卡達爾湖 (Lake Skadar) 中心的三座橋上的小鎮。沿著一條小河道離開碼頭，河道周圍環繞著蘆葦叢和成排的柳樹。置身於廣闊的斯卡達爾湖開闊水域，觀賞弗蘭吉納及其兩座山峰從南歐最大的湖泊中拔地而起。
弗蘭吉納修道院 (Vranjina Monastery) 位於弗蘭吉納島 (Vranjina Island) 東南側，位於莫拉查三角洲 (Morača delta) 上方，是您的下一站。只有一座前修道院教堂經受住了時間的摧殘，那就是供奉聖尼古拉斯的教堂。弗蘭吉納 (Vranjina) 修道院與隱藏在斯卡達爾湖 (Lake Skadar) 湖畔的其他幾座修道院形成一個統一體，稱為 Zetska Sveta Gora。

該修道院曾兩次被土耳其人摧毀，同時它也成為了戰爭堡壘。這座修道院於 1862 年被夷為平地，唯一見證這座修道院存在的就是原來聖尼古拉斯教堂的三座鐘。1998 年，教會再次開始修復，並任命了一位方丈。
步行上山前往聖尼古拉教堂，可以欣賞到湖泊和莫拉卡河的壯麗景色，河岸上柳樹環繞。步行十分鐘就到達教堂，有機會參觀。返回途中，您將在甘甜的湖水中恢復活力。
