The venue was very nicely decorated and appeared clean. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The negatives for us was that there were two young children running noisily around and their parents were not asked to intervene. The food was quite frankly awful. We had paid online in advance and had a restricted menu, which was ok. We had Caesar salad for starters, the lettuce was not very fresh and had lumps of hard stalks in, the croutons and dressing were very nice. Main course for my friend was a burger, which was dry , as were her chips which were also over cooked. I had salmon which had a very rubbery skin and again was dry in the middle, it came with a nice flavoured butter which helped to make it more palatable. My chips were ok, but the green beans were cold and undercooked, Ice cream for dessert was delicious. We complained to the manager who did not charge us for our drinks, but as we payed in advance we were unable to receive a full refund. Not a good experience!

We had to waiting for the food not 15-20 minutes, but 1 hour...we had to waiting for 10-15 minutes for the drinks, dessert was good, food was ok, serving is slow, and stagnated.The place is kid of an avarage pub, except the musicians pictures and guitars, clothes on display, good point music on monitors.Shop is expensive, everything is expensive, but ok for once in a year to try out...

Restaurant and staff were great, but Expedia made it seem like I was needing to have a reservation to enter. The prices for the actual menu items were way cheaper there than what i was charged through expedia. All of them individually were way cheaper. Unbelievable. Very disappointed. However, the restaurant and staff were phenomenal. Just wish id never booked this through expedia.

The service was ok however they didn’t ask me friend and I if we had any allergies and when we ate our dessert my friend realised there were nuts in her dessert and my friend is extremely allergic to them we had to call an ambulance to help as her tongue and throat swelled up. This was very disappointing as I have been many times to hard rock and it was my friends first time! The manager didn’t really know how to handle the situation only saying sorry for the menu not saying the dessert contained nuts, he didn’t offer me a refund. He just said that the area manager would be in touch with my friend. My friend suffers with her allergies extremely bad and I am just grateful that we noticed before she swolled the dessert. I will not be returning to hard rock again as I feel their compassion was minimal and unprofessional. The staff including management need retraining.
